How do you feel about life in Port Moody? We want to know!

Every two years, we conduct a Citizen Survey to ask residents how satisfied they are with City performance, services, and overall quality of life in Port Moody. We ask a series of questions on the following topics:

  • quality of life;
  • local issues;
  • municipal operations;
  • City services;
  • financial planning;
  • communication;
  • tourism; and
  • environmental protection.

Telephone Survey

As has been done in previous years, Ipsos Public Affairs will conduct a random telephone survey of Port Moody residents, aged 18 and older on behalf of the City. If your household receives a phone call from Ipsos Public Affairs, we encourage you to take part.

Online Survey

New for 2022, residents can also complete the Citizen Survey through a web-based survey hosted by Ipsos on behalf of the City until May 12, 2022.

Why is the Citizen Survey important?

We use the results to better understand how our residents’ priorities may be changing, and to learn if there are new or emerging issues facing the community. By comparing the results against those from previous years, we can also measure if the City is making progress in addressing key issues. View the 2018 Citizen Survey Results (PDF) or infographic (PDF). Note that due to COVID-19 we did not conduct the survey in 2020.
