Tell us about your favourite Port Moody spot that’s off the beaten path

Sentinel road just off Ioco

While taking a brisk walk along Ioco, you suddenly come across this small diversion. Lined on each side with tall trees that form a canopy part of the way, it runs along side the railroad tracks the bike path and the hiking path, with a full visible view of the inlet almost all the way through. It’s not a very long walk but very nice and serene with many opportunities to divert down towards any one of the hiking trails. Just love this spot.

Ioco Road

My not so much beaten path is at the corner of Ioco road and Kicking horse. There is a wonderful guerilla garden, planted by a resident , leading the path to a stream where i often see deers quenching their thirst.
