Our Nest

My husband, 2-year old daughter and I moved out to Port Moody from South Surrey just in February 2020. It has been a long-term dream to move out here and raise our family since David has always worked out this way. All of our friends are out this way also and have all moved from Surrey as well. We love it for the forests, trails, beaches and our breweries. Now that the sky train is here as well, it feels more central to other places and travelling to the city is a breeze. If the plan is to grow and expand, keep the community in the heart of Port Moody. Let us remember William Morris and his vision to make the world a better place through community and the arts and crafts. He took a stand against the dehumanizing impact of mass production and I believe Port Moody holds these values strongly and that’s why I love it here so much.
