The applicant has applied for changes to the OCP which would increase the overall density for a portion of the Coronation Park neighbourhood to allow for a proposed mixed-use and multi-family development. If successful the application would result in a neighbourhood plan that outlines options for future rezoning applications and re-development.

  • five high-rise towers ranging between 37 and 40 storeys and five six-storey buildings
  • approximately 2,900 residential units, including 175 affordable rental units, with rents set based on BC Housing’s Housing Income Limits (HILs)
  • 2,411,195ft² of residential floor space
  • 10,350ft² of neighbourhood-serving retail space
  • 8,000ft² of childcare space
  • 20,900ft² private amenity building to serve residents of the neighbourhood
  • a floor area ratio (FAR) of 4.5
  • 1.5 acres of public park space, and 1.93 acres of semi-public open space

Council has now referred this development application to Public Hearing. This means that public input through Engage Port Moody has concluded, and all feedback received will be compiled for anonymous inclusion in a report to Council, which will be publicly accessible.
